Job Summary

The Marketing Services Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing various marketing projects and campaigns from conception to completion. The Marketing Services Manager works closely with vendors and cross-functional teams, including Food & Beverage, Creative Services, Digital Marketing, Hotel, Sage Spa, and other departments, to ensure the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives. The Marketing Services Manager is detailed orientated, utilizes strong project management skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, quality assurance, and has a firm understanding of marketing channels and execution.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and manage comprehensive campaign
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and key success criteria.
  • Contribute to the planning and management of campaign reporting and
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables to client, internal, and external teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project communications and address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage the flow of creative deliverables, assets, and approvals between agency and clients through all stages of development.
  • Ensure the quality of creative deliverables meets the brief and established best
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to prevent delays or setbacks, and develop contingency plans to manage unforeseen challenges.
  • Ensure the quality of all deliverables meets or exceeds agency
  • Conduct thorough reviews and capture stakeholder approvals before finalizing project
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the marketing project management function.
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requires strong leadership and communication skills. Will interact with various levels of staff, management, government officials, and the public. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 4 years’ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related fields, with a focus on project management responsibilities. Direct marketing and agency experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing marketing projects from conception to completion, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve project objectives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including, but not limited to, creative, digital, and analytics teams, to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other relevant software
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing deadlines and requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance, ensuring all project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and quality standards.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Exceptional reading, writing and public speaking skills are important to the successful conduct of this position.  Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports, general business periodicals, professional journals or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, rates, ratio, proportions and percentages. 

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to apply legal, regulatory and procedure doctrine, concepts and policy to practical situations. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The team member frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms.  The team member is occasionally required to sit. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  This is a fast-paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it. The casino environment has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment. 

 

WORKING HOURS:

Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
