Job Summary

Provide clean-up support to the Beverage department on the casino floor by removing used items in guest areas. Ensure a clutter free clean environment for our guest’s, maintain our 4-Diamond cleanliness standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Remove used beverage glasses, plastic bottles, paper cups and general trash materials from the casino floor guest areas.
  • Remove dirty ashtrays and replace with clean empty ash trays
  • Wash used glass beverage items by placing them in the beverage dishwashers.
  • Provide friendly service to all guests.
  • Empty trash bins as they become full.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be able to stand and lift up to 25 pounds consistently throughout an 8-hour shift. Must be able to multitask in a fast paced team environment. Must be comfortable in communicating with all guests and other team members. Must be 21 years of age to work in the Beverage department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years of age. Experienced in alcoholic beverage service in a high-volume beverage-serving establishment.

 

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency. Certified Food Handler Card required.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment. Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must have the ability to hear and speak. Sense of vision must see up close, at a distance, in color and have depth perception.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a fast paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it. The casino environment has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment.

 

WORKING HOURS:

Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require Team Members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
