Responsible for leveraging all available data extracting techniques and systems to drive incremental business growth through measurable improvements in slot game flow optimization.
Knowledge of all types of slot machines, slot computerization, slots tracking/auditing systems, and current marketing concepts. Strong analytical ability, especially with slot computing and financial reporting methods must be maintained. Team leader and innovator relating to marketing concepts. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Must be competent with varies PC based software programs. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for guest service and team member relations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is preferred, but not required. Knowledge on data extraction, organization and reporting, along with ability to perform these procedures efficiently and present results of the work. Minimum of 2 years in data analysis, and/or or equivalent is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & REGISTRATIONS:
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and manuals written in English. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to communicate interpersonally and respond to inquiries from managers, team members, guests and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, rates, ratio, proportions and percentages. Experience in statistical analysis, including the ability to identify trends, patterns and relationships in data; develop and measure testing scenarios; and synthesize/report results highly preferred.
REASONING ABILITY:
Problem solving and troubleshooting is essential for success in this position. Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, test possible solutions, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions as well as be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work involves frequent sitting, standing, walking and crouching or kneeling, reaching with arms and using the hands to manipulate, feel and enter data by frequent and sustained use of keyboard and mouse. Site work involves limited manual labor. Requires the ability to speak and hear. Vision abilities required by this job typically include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position involves functioning in both an office environment and various locations throughout the premises. The office environment has low to moderate noise levels. The casino environment has moderate to loud noise, dim to moderate lighting, and is a smoking environment.
WORKING HOURS:
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
