Responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for guests on Casino grounds.
Ability to gain the cooperation of passengers. Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing the operation of a tram. Ability to operate motor vehicles safely and operate in a variety of weather conditions. Skill in performing operator tasks and/or maintenance on vehicles. Must have California Driver License and 20/20 corrective vision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED. Class B driver’s license required prior to starting in position.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak courteously to guests. Ability to respond to questions from guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to develop and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The team member is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch. Field work involves driving a bus tram in all weather conditions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Field conditions are strongly weather-dependent and may be hot, dusty, cold, muddy and/or wet depending on season and the degree of exposure.
WORKING HOURS:
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team embers be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
